Cookie policy

Essential storage supports accounts and games. Optional Google Analytics cookies are used only after you accept analytics. Accept and decline are equally available, and you can change your choice in Cookie Preferences.

ifp_session — essential session cookie

The first-party ifp_session cookie is HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Strict. It identifies a random server-side session and expires after seven days. It supports sign-in and request protection without containing your password or email.

ifp:notice — essential local preference

This first-party local-storage record remembers that you dismissed the essential-storage notice, with a timestamp. It is checked for expiry after 180 days. You can review or clear it in Cookie Preferences.

ifp:round — temporary round recovery

Session storage keeps the request identifier and selected play level for an interrupted round. It contains no password, outcome seed or email. It is removed after a successful presentation, on sign-out, or when the browser tab session ends.

Changing your choices

Use Cookie Preferences at any time to accept or decline optional analytics. Declining or withdrawing consent does not affect sign-in or games. Withdrawing removes Analytics cookies and stops future measurement. Essential account and round-recovery storage remains active.

Server-side traffic services

Palladium and Keitaro process homepage request metadata on the server for traffic screening, routing and visit reporting. This does not add an advertising cookie to your Irish Farmers account. The essential-storage notice is not an opt-out from this server-side processing. See the Privacy Policy or contact hello@irishfarmers.com with questions. Updated 21 September 2026.

ifp:analytics-consent:v1 — your choice

First-party local storage remembers whether you accepted or declined optional analytics, with a timestamp, for up to 180 days. It is an essential preference, not an analytics identifier.

_ga and _ga_* — optional analytics

Google Analytics uses these first-party cookies to distinguish visits and measure sessions after consent. We configure a maximum lifetime of 180 days without renewal on each page view. They are removed when you decline analytics in Cookie Preferences. Updated 22 September 2026.
